Parma is located in the heart of the rich Po Valley. This strategic position allows people coming from Central and Northern Italy to visit the trade fair without staying overnight thanks to the efficient network of roads, railways and airports in the surroundings.
Furthermore Parma's area is renowned for its production activities. 18,000,000 people live within a radius of 200 km and there are numerous major manufacturing centres, which are well-known at national and international level. Reggio Emilia, Modena, Bologna and Piacenza are only a short distance away, while Milan, Bergamo, Brescia and Verona are little more than 100 km from Parma.
